Allspice is prepared from the dried berries of Pimenta dietician, a plant. It is said to be a member of the myrtle family. The flavor of allspice makes to cloves, mind cinnamon, pepper, and nutmeg. The wide use of the same is seen in the Caribbean, Latin American Cuisine, and Middle Eastern. The most versatile use is in desserts, main courses, side dishes, hot cider, and mulled wine. It is simply a single spice which is used for several beverages.
